Scheduling and CancellationsLessons must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance.If a student needs to reschedule or cancel a lesson, they must do so at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled time.No refunds will be given for cancellations made after the 12-hour cancellation window.No-shows are not eligible for refunds or make-up classes.The tutor reserves the right to make all decisions regarding rescheduling and cancellations.If a session needs to be rescheduled, both parties must agree on a new time.Rescheduled sessions should be booked within a reasonable timeframe, typically within one week of the original session.3. AttendanceStudents are expected to attend all scheduled sessions.Repeated absences or tardiness may result in the termination of the tutoring relationship.4. Code of ConductBoth tutors and students are expected to behave respectfully and professionally at all times.Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in termination of the tutoring relationship.Tutors and students must dress appropriately for all sessions.Any inappropriate behavior may result in the termination of the tutoring relationship.5. Session ConductTutors have the right to terminate a session if the student displays inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to harassment, discrimination, or disruptive conduct.In such cases, no refunds will be provided, and the tutor reserves the right to discontinue future sessions with the student.6. Learning MaterialsTutors will provide necessary learning materials for each session.Students are responsible for having access to these materials during the session.7. Session EnvironmentStudents should ensure they are in a quiet, distraction-free environment during sessions.Tutors will also ensure they are in a professional setting conducive to effective teaching.8.Academic IntegrityStudents must adhere to academic integrity policies and avoid any form of cheating or plagiarism.Tutors will not complete assignments, exams, or other academic work on behalf of the student.9. Intellectual PropertyAll materials provided by the tutor, including lesson plans, worksheets, and other educational resources, are the intellectual property of the tutor.Students may use these materials for personal study purposes only and may not distribute, reproduce, or share them without the tutor's explicit permission.10. Health and SafetyTutors are not responsible for any health issues or injuries that occur during or as a result of the tutoring sessions.Students and parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring a safe and appropriate environment for online sessions.11.Parental/Guardian Supervision and policies for MinorsMinors must consult their parents or guardians before booking a class. The tutor will not be held responsible if this consultation does not occur and it may result in the termination of the tutoring relationship.The tutor reserves the right to terminate sessions if it is discovered that a minor has not obtained parental or guardian consent.Minors should have a parent or guardian present or nearby during each tutoring session to monitor the session.Parents or guardians should ensure that the minor's device is secure and has the necessary software installed.The device used for tutoring sessions must have current antivirus software and parental controls activated.12. Technology UseStudents must have access to a computer or tablet with a stable internet connection.A webcam and microphone are required for all online tutoring sessions to facilitate clear communication.The platform used must support video conferencing, screen sharing, and file sharing to enhance the learning experience.Students should familiarize themselves with the platform's features and functionalities before the first session.13.Technical IssuesIn the event of technical issues (e.g., internet connectivity problems, software malfunctions), both parties should attempt to resolve the issue promptly.If technical issues cannot be resolved within 15 minutes, the session may be rescheduled at no additional cost.Students are encouraged to test their equipment and internet connection before each session to minimize disruptions.14. Technical RequirementsTutors are not responsible for technical issues on the student's end, including but not limited to poor internet connection, malfunctioning devices, or software problems.If technical issues persist and disrupt the session, the tutor may reschedule the session at their discretion.15. Payment and RefundsPayment for lessons must be made in advance through the official payment system.Refunds will only be issued for cancellations made within the specified cancellation window.In the event of a tutor's unavailability, the student will be offered a rescheduled session or a refund.16.Payment DisputesAny disputes regarding payment must be addressed within 30 days of the transaction.The tutor reserves the right to suspend services until the dispute is resolved.17. LiabilityThe tutor is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage that may occur during tutoring sessions.Tutors and students are responsible for their own safety and well-being during sessions.18. ConfidentialityAll information shared during tutoring sessions is confidential and should not be disclosed to third parties without consent.Tutors are required to maintain the confidentiality of all student information and session content.19. Feedback and ComplaintsStudents are encouraged to provide feedback on their tutoring experience.Any complaints should be directed to the tutoring service administration for resolution.20. Compliance with LawsBoth tutors and students must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.Any illegal activities will be reported to the appropriate authorities.Any legal issues arising from the tutoring sessions will be addressed in accordance with the laws of the tutor's jurisdiction.21. Dispute ResolutionBoth parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes amicably before seeking legal action.22. Termination of ServicesEither party may terminate the tutoring relationship with reasonable notice, typically 14 days.Any prepaid sessions not conducted due to termination will be refunded.23. Agreement to TermsBooking a class signifies that the student has read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions outlined in this policy.
